Sahara tour day 2

The 2nd day of my Sahara tour stared with a heart breakfast, and a long and bumpy ride into the desert with stops at a Berber village, a carpet coop (seeing and trying carpet weaving), a gorge, etc.

Erg Chebbi dunes are bean shaped with orange colored sand covering an area 30km long and around 5-10km wide. The canal ride into the desert for sunset was the highlight of the tour. The dinner and camp site were impressive (even has warm showers). I went sleeping after dinner and fell into sleep in local drum music. When waking up in the middle of night, I saw many stars in the desert sky.
