Last/4th day of the Scottish Highland tour

We stayed in Fort William, the outdoor capital of the UK, in order to see the Harry Potter train at the staring point, the Jacobite Steam Train traveling from Fort William to Mallaig along the West Highland Line. Then we drove to near Glenfinnan Viaduct abd walked up to a viewing point where the train turned.

The next spot was 007 Skyfall.  “James Bond films and Sam Mendes' Skyfall (2012) is the fourth film to feature Scotland's jaw-dropping landscapes. … Skyfall sees the secret agent returning to his Scottish roots, with the main part of the action taking place at Bond's family home, Skyfall Lodge, which is located in awe-inspiring Glen Coe.” However, the scenes looked very different on a rainy windy day.

We had some Scottish food for lunch. Some ordered deer burgers, and I ordered Cullen Skink (smoked salmon soup/chowder). We had a few more stops for lakes, such as Tulls lake, Loch Lomond, etc.

Our last spot was Glasgow the capital of Scotland which has gothic architectures.

On the last night in Scotland, I ordered a pizza with haggis and Stornoway black pudding toppings. Haggis consists of sausage meat made from the innards of the sheep mixed with onions, oatmeal, suet, stock, dried herbs. Stornoway black pudding is one type of blood sausage made from pork or beef blood, with pork fat or beef suet, and a cereal, usually oatmeal, oat groats or barley groats.
