Montmartre Walking tours and free museums

I stoped by a local market (Marché Saint-Martin), a church, and a free museum (Musée de la Vie romantique), before the Montmartre waking Tour. Montmartre is the most Bohemian and artistic district of Paris, the center of good-living and once the home and artist and muse to Renoir, Picasso, Edith Piaf and others. Best of all, we ran into its once a year parade and food/wine festival.

I visited two free museums in the afternoon. Petit Palais (City of Paris Museum of Modern Art) has quality art work and a beautiful garden while Musée Cognacq-Jay has nice displays. On the other hand, Musée Carnavalet - the museum of the history of Paris was sold out for the weekend so I cannot visit.

I then walked by the pantheon and the   Luxembourg Gardens to wrap up the day.
