Amsterdam Alternative walking tour and more free sites

I took another Covid test so I can access the eateries in town and and airport today.

I spent my last day in Amsterdam in the city Achieves (with multimedia showing how the city progressed 1600-1800), the Max Euwe Centre (that pays homage to the world chess champion from the Netherlands: Professor Max Euwe, very difficult to find this museum hidden in an apartment), an alternative walking tour, and I finally tasted kibbeling (battered chunks of fish served with a mayonnaise-based garlic sauce) at Albert Cuyp Market.

During the alternative walking tour, the guide explained Bike culture (how hippie anti-car protest led to huge changes and how cycling became part of Dutch DNA), how hippies fought for soft drug tolerance, stories of Amsterdam’s magic mushrooms and coffeeshops, etc.

I wrapped today with views from Nemo science museum Panorama terrace.
