Nice, France
My flight from Porto, Portugal into Nice, France was unusually smooth, except heavy rain in Porto to walk to the Metro station and some waiting time boarding. EasyJet ticket costed only 43€ and it turned out was not as strict about one-bag size for this flight, although I spent some efforts to comply. No one cares about my vaccination cards, and the whole experience feel like a domestic train ride.
I took 1.5 € metro into Nice downtown and dropped my bag, set pins on sights to see and then headed out. I ran into the support station for Sunday Nice Marathon and also a plicatic parade against vaccination.
After checking the sights, such as Massena sqaure, the opera House, the cours saleya market, Galerie des Ponchettes, the belanda tower, Rossetti square, etc., I got a whole roasted chicken with lattice and bread for dinner. Cost of living here is at least 30% higher than Portugal.
